Karela known as bitter melon is truly very bitter.  The fruit is packed with nutrients and wide range of health benefits.

INGREDIENTS

2 small bitter melon

1 small green apple

i large peace of ginger

1/2 lemon

1 teaspoon rock salt (kala namak)

2 cups water

PREPARATION

Step 1

Wash the bitter melon and chop into big pieces.

Step 2

Add chopped bitter melon, peeled ginger, chopped green apple and water in the vita mix or any juice blender.  Grind until  the juice is smooth.

Step 3

Add lemon and pink salt to the juice before serving
