INGREDIENTS (for 6 inch pie tin)

1 cup chocolate biscuits or cookies, crushed (200g). Oreo or bourbon are optimal.

1/4 cup butter, melted (50g)

cooking chocolate slabs, melted (200g). Take milk or dark chocolate depending on preference.

1 cup fresh cream at room temperature (200ml)

walnuts (optional)

pinenuts (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Step 1

Crush the biscuits extremely well until it becomes crumbly and a bit powdery. Mix the crumbles with butter and create a paste – this will serve as the base. Spread the mixture evenly on a pie dish.

Step 2

In another bowl, mix the melted chocolate and cream. Add some walnuts or pine nuts if you want a crunchy taste. Ensure both are at room temperature while mixing otherwise lumps will be formed. Pour this smooth mixture on the base and chill for 4-6 hours so it sets well. Decorate with whipped cream, walnuts, pine nuts or even fruits of your choice.
