INGREDIENTS

10-15 chocolate biscuits (any digestive biscuit is okay)

1/2 cup melted cream cheese (or mascarpone cheese)

6 tbsp powdered sugar

2 tbsp instant coffee powder

3/4 cup warm water

2 tbsp sour cream (or hung curd)

2 tbsp kahlúa (or rum or baileys)

3/4 cup whipping cream

cocoa powder for dusting

DIRECTIONS

Step 1

Take some warm water and add coffee powder to it. In another bowl, take cream cheese and add powdered sugar, sour cream and whipping cream. Whisk this mixture until smooth and creamy. Then, add the alcohol and whisk it again. Maintain the creamy texture.

Step 2

Take a fresh bowl in which you want to set the tiramisu. Take a few biscuits and dip it in the water and coffee powder mixture, and place it in the bowl as the base. Top that with at least an inch of cream and then add another layer of dipped biscuits. Top that with a final layer of cream.

Step 3

Refrigerate the tiramisu bowl for 30 minutes. Remove it, and then dust some cocoa powder using a sieve on the topmost creamy layer. Refrigerate once again for atleast an hour so it sets well.
